About

Since 2007, Big Time Lew (Louis-David Leclerc) has been spreading festive, vintage blues throughout Quebec. A pianist-singer inspired by boogie-woogie, swing, and rock'n'roll, he distinguished himself from the very beginning by twice winning second place in major blues competitions (Tremblant 2008, FestiBlues Montréal 2009).

He released his first album, Boogie Woogie On The Rocks, in 2010, followed by Let's Swing! in 2019, establishing his signature energetic and unifying sound. A notable participant in La Voix in 2020 as part of Marc Dupré's team, he performs at festivals, bars, and major stages with an electrifying stage presence.

Big Time Lew has shared the stage with the biggest names in Quebec/Canadian blues: Kevin Mark, Jim Zeller, Carl Tremblay, Guy Bélanger, Bob Harrisson, Ben Racine, Kenny “Blues Boss” Wayne, Ricky Paquette and many others.

The Screamin' Rockets are the fuel that propels Big Time Lew on stage! Behind the piano and Lew's fiery vocals, these five exceptional musicians roar with authentic rock 'n' roll, inspired by the 50s and 60s. Together they deliver an electrifying show where the double bass leaps, the drums explode, the guitar rumbles and the brass screams. Henry ''Captain Hank'' Wojcik - Contrebasse Véritable acrobate de la contrebasse, Henry «Captain Hank» Wojcik est le moteur rythmique du groupe. Avec son style rockabilly bien ancré et son charisme débordant, il fait littéralement danser son instrument, le faisant tournoyer sur scène comme un partenaire de swing. Son jeu puissant et ses lignes de basse bondissantes propulsent The Screamin'Rockets droit vers les étoiles	Francis ''The Kid'' Verdon - Batterie Francis «The kid» Verdon est le coeur battant du groupe. Derrière sa batterie, il combine précision et fougue, insufflant une énergie irrésistible qui fait lever la foule à chaque spectacle. Avec ses grooves inspirés des années 50 et son sens du spectacle, The Kid garde toujours la flamme allumée et pousse la machine à toute vitesse.	Jean-Philippe ''JP the Bird'' Comeau - Guitare Jean-Philippe «JP the Bird» Comeau fait chanter sa guitare avec un mélange unique de swing, de blues et de rock and roll. Surnommé «The Bird» pour son jeu fluide et aérien, il enchaîne les riffs accrocheurs et les solos plein de feeling, ajoutant des couleurs vintages et une touche sauvage à la sonorité du groupe.
Pat Luneau - Saxophone baryton Pat Luneau, au saxophone baryton, est la fondation grave et groovy du mur de cuivres. Avec un son chaud et solide, il apporte la profondeur et le swing qui complètent à merveille les envolées du sax ténor. Quand le charismatique Luneau entre en jeu, toute la salle sent son énergie. Son jeu puissant, parfois sauvage, et son attitude magnétique donnent au groupe un côté rugissant qui fait honneur au nom Screamin'Rockets.	Mark ''Fuel Junkie'' LeClerc - Saxophoniste ténor Avec son souffle puissant et son style succulent, Mark «Fuel Junkie» LeClerc est une véritable locomotive au sax ténor. Inspiré par les grands souffleurs de l'ère du jump blues, il alimente chaque prestation d'une énergie brute, entre lignes brûlantes et envolées endiablées qui donnent à The Screamin'Rockets une intensité irrésistible.
